Anagram for iPhone sneak peek

Just got a very basic implementation of Anagram up and running on the 3.0 beta iPhone. Here are some screenshots of the alpha version in action!

Very exciting stuff. Will be demoing this at CTIA Wireless next week!

  • What is the status of Anagram for iPhone. I see it was to be released with 3.0 but I don’t see in the App Store yet.

  • Unfortunately we’re behind schedule on the release due to delays with the BlackBerry version, but we should have it ready in about a month. Keep a look out!

  • Oh this is excellent news. I’ll be soooooooooooo happy to see it when it’s done.

  • If you need any beta testers for the iPhone app, count me in!

  • What is the current status of the iPhone version?

  • We had hoped to have this released a while ago, but it’s very delayed due to other business. However, it’s working great in the lab and needs some final tweaking. I hope to be posting good news in a month or so.

  • I am a huge fan of Anagram on my PC. I switched to a Mac a couple of months ago, and still can’t figure out any convenient way of quickly extracting contact info from email addresses into the Mac address book.

    So, two questions:

Is a version of Anagram in the works for the Mac?

Can I get a beta version of Anagram for the IPhone while we wait for the final product?

    Thanks in advance,

    Bill

  • Hi Bill-
No Mac version, sorry! I’ll put you down as interested in both that and the iPhone version. It’s tricky to release a beta version of an iPhone app since Apple has such tight control over iPhone app distribution. But we’re working on it!

  • I’m also really interested in a version of Anagram / Copy2Contact for the Mac. Any update on whether or not one is in the work?

    Thanks — Ken

  • We don’t currently have a Mac product in development at the moment. It appears that Apple will be adding the feature into the OS very soon so keep a look out.
