The “Unsupported Outlook Version” error can happen for no obvious reason, even when Outlook and Copy2Contact are properly installed. Copy2Contact relies on Outlook to report its version number to Windows and sometimes this seems to get broken.
First check whether or not you have uninstalled a previous version of Outlook. An older version of Outlook being present can cause this error.
Then it’s best to try restarting your computer. A restart is easy and can fix the problem, though not always.
Lastly, and if the above doesn’t work, a complete uninstall and reinstall of Outlook from the original source is required. It sounds drastic but typically goes smoothly and fixes unexplained problems like this most of the time. Some parts of Outlook get corrupted during normal use and often even after a first install.
